A versatile open architecture 802.11 based outdoor wireless platform that can be used as an AP, Bridge, PMP Station, Mesh networking client, and in many more applications being developed. It features exceptional radio and antenna design which allowing links to be established over distances beyond 50km and can provide significantly increased throughput (up to 50+Mbps TCP/IP) over other solutions in comparable environments. Additionally, Ubquiti has made public Linux SDK and toolchain resources for OEM's and carriers.

The PowerStation architecture design was driven by the WISP community and embodies the collection of feature requests and suggestions proposed to Ubiquiti engineers from WISP operators. Every aspect of the product design from the nuts and bolts to the system and radio hardware to the antenna was 100% designed by Ubiquiti.
